Waheed Para joins Bashir Mir in campaigning at Ganderbal | KNO

Ganderbal, Sep 20 (KNO): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Waheed Para Friday joined Bashir Mir, the party's candidate from Ganderbal constituency, in an election campaign held at Manigam area. The event saw a significant turnout as the PDP gears up for the upcoming elections. While talking to reporters during the campaign, Para commented on the current political scenario in Kashmir, stating, "This is a time in Kashmir where no one really knows who stands with whom." As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), he hinted at the complex political alignments in the region without giving away too much. We will fight for the rights of people, freedom of jailed youth and religious leaders, he said. The people who are contesting are unknown until Jammat will not contest on their own banner, he said while campaigning for party candidate for Ganderbal constituency Bashir Mir. Bashir Mir conducted a road show and addressed gatherings at various areas of Constituency. Meanwhile, Bashir Mir expressed confidence in the support he is receiving from the people of Ganderbal and assured that his campaign is gaining momentum as the election day approaches—(KNO)
